Research Interests:

Currently he is working on developing the necessary tool for decision making and control design in automated highway driving. A higher level supervisor (so called driver model) is used to detect and evaluate the driving conditions to avoid accidents, and a lower level controller performs the required action to accomplish the task. The overall design includes a combination of discrete and continuous dynamics, eventually forms a hybrid dynamical system. His past research has focused on studying Hinf controller design for time-delayed systems, and air-fuel ratio control in application.
